What will you learn?
On the mechanical engineering programme in Sønderborg, you will work hands-on with mechanics, energy and design. You will learn to analyse and calculate how systems move, withstand stress and function in real life – such as engines, robotic arms or heating and cooling systems. You will build a solid technical foundation and become familiar with both classical engineering disciplines and modern tools such as 3D modelling and simulation.
Throughout your studies, you will work on real-world projects. For example, you might help develop an energy solution, design a robot or optimise a production line. Each semester includes group project work where you apply your knowledge to solve concrete challenges – often inspired by local companies.
The programme gives you a broad technical profile with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of both theory and practice. You will learn to collaborate and communicate with professionals from other disciplines – and you will be well equipped to develop the technical solutions of the future in a world that needs sustainable innovation.
