This project is in collaboration with Vestas Aircoil. The focus is to use computational morphogenesis to the design of heat exchangers for high temperature-difference applications. The goal is to provide fundamental insight into thermomechanical loads at high temperature gradients and the interplay between thermomechanics, vibration, and pressure loads. Advanced topology optimisation methods will be devised and applied to the multiphysics challenge.
