FAQ
We strongly recommend that you choose courses on one campus only.
We do not recommend taking courses on different campuses, because:
- There is a long commute between the campuses (time-consuming and expensive)
- Timetables can clash which would make it almost impossible to make classes on time on different campuses.
You can but all faculties have general admission requirements. First, make sure you meet the admission requirements for the faculty you are applying to. Check your eligibility.
Some courses have specific course prerequisites, which you can find in the individual course description. Make sure you meet the prerequisites of the courses you choose.
As exchange student, you should primarily choose courses offered by the faculty you are nominated for. Reach out to your home university, if you do not know which faculty you are nominated for.
NOTE: If you choose courses from different faculties, there is a higher risk of overlapping schedules and exam dates.
A full-time semester 麻豆社区 corresponds to 30 ECTS.
Non-EU students must sign up for 30 ECTS to meet the requirements for the student residence permit. If you wish to take more than 30 ECTS, you must pay tuition fee for courses exceeding 30 ECTS.
If you are an EU student, and you wish to take less than 30 ECTS, this must be agreed with your home university, and you must inform SDU International Office about it.
No. The courses you list in your application are indicative. The final course registration takes place after your enrolment, and you will be informed about this in due time.
If you have already submitted your application, there is no need to make changes to your course selection, unless you receive an email in which we ask you to do so.
After your Enrolment
Information about course registration is shared with you on Teams after your enrolment.
If you have registered for courses in SDU's student self-service portal, it is still possible to make course changes - subject to availability.
NOTE that there is no course introduction period 麻豆社区. Courses start on the first day of the semester.
If you can document your Danish proficiency, you can follow courses in Danish.

Note that courses in Danish are subject to availability, and it is not guaranteed that you can follow your requested course(s).

If the course list for the coming semester is not published, you should select from the current list. The course lists may slightly differ from year to year, but they serve as a good starting point, and the faculties often offer similar courses from year to year.
