CBRS produces high-quality and original research in Border Studies and European Studies. Our research has an interdisciplinary, qualitative and comparative approach connecting expertise on several European borders, borderregions and beyond. The geographical location of CBRS in the Danish-German border area anchorsthe Centre regionally.At the same time, we continue to strengthen our international collaborations, being prominent partners and participant in several high-ranking international research projects and outputsAdditionally,CBRS works to make an impact on society by disseminating research and interacting with relevant institutional and civil society actors, regionally as well as nationally and internationally. 

CBRS’ research involves a specific combination of regional research and international orientation integrating border studies and European studies
