The Danish University Pedagogy Network (DUN) is a network for anyone working with education and teaching. The network brings together approximately 1,500 members across universities and staff categories: academic staff (VIP), part-time academic staff (DVIP), technical/administrative staff (TAP), higher education pedagogical developers, as well as heads of programme and education administrators. As an employee 麻豆社区, you can join DUN free of charge—and there are many good reasons to do so.

Interests as a driving force

DUN includes a number of , which you are free to follow and engage in. There are interest groups covering everything from educational leadership to laboratory and fieldwork, examination and assessment practices, and much more.

Within the interest groups, lecturers, heads of programme, counsellors and researchers meet across institutions—for example, a lecturer from SDU, a head of programme from AU, a counsellor from DTU, and a vice dean from KU. This creates inspiring dialogues, new perspectives, and strong professional networks.

The SIGs organise theme days, workshops, webinars, conferences and similar activities, and you can choose how active you want to be. You can also help establish a brand-new interest group, and DUN supports the groups both administratively and financially.

DUNK – the annual conference

The annual DUN conference (DUNK) typically brings together 200–300 participants for two days of thought-provoking keynotes, inspiring presentations, workshops and ample opportunity to meet colleagues from across the country.

SDU is always well represented. at Hotel LEGOLAND, contributions include a presentation by Professor Nina Bonderup Dohn on design for learning with generative AI, while Senior Educational Consultant Donna Hurford will lead a workshop on international dimensions in new master’s degree programmes.

DUT – a journal with research and practice-oriented guides

In 2006, DUN established , which publishes research, debate, and practice-oriented articles on higher education pedagogy. In addition to traditional academic articles, the journal also includes debate and inspiration pieces as well as the so-called DUT Guides.

A DUT Guide is a short, application-oriented and action-guiding publication based on research and new literature. It is aimed at lecturers and developers who want concrete tools to improve their practice. For example, there are DUT Guides on , , and .
