We conduct cutting-edge research in digital electronics for advanced applications such as autonomous robots, drones, automotive systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Our mission is to develop technologies that address major societal challenges—including infrastructure inspection and maintenance, improving operational efficiency, and solving critical issues in the energy sector.
Our interdisciplinary team brings together expertise in hardware acceleration, artificial intelligence, control systems, high-frequency electronics, power electronics, radio frequency technologies, and embedded systems. Together, we design and implement innovative solutions that shape the future of intelligent and sustainable systems.
We collaborate closely with leading universities, industry partners, and start-ups in the fields of electronics, robotics, drones, and IoT. These partnerships strengthen our research impact and accelerate technology transfer.
The section currently coordinates the EUDP project and is a partner in Horizon Europe and. We have also led and contributed to several large-scale projects, including the H2020 , IFD , and H2020 projects.
Our research groups apply advanced electronics across diverse domains. To explore each group's focus in more detail, please follow the links below.
