Research Unit Psychiatry (Aabenraa)

Research areas

The Research Unit Psychiatry (Aabenraa) is established in collaboration with the Department of Regional Health Research, University of Southern Denmark

The research unit's overall focus areas are: Research on health inequalities in disease and health, and patient-centred research.

The unit has particular research strengths in the following areas:

Physical health conditions in patients with mental illness, including early detection and prevention

Integration of somatic and psychiatric care, with a focus on care pathways for patients with mental illness
