Visit by Professor Natalia Wilke to the SDU Imaging Group

visit professor natalia wilke from Córdoba

On Wednesday, July 2nd, we welcomed Professor Natalia Wilke* from the National University of Córdoba (UNC, for its acronym in Spanish) to the SDU Imaging Group at Campus Odense. Her visit included scientific exchange, facility tours, and discussions about future collaborations.

Professor Wilke gave an excellent talk on the biophysical mechanisms behind membrane-active peptide (MAP) selectivity, highlighting the complex interplay of electrostatics, membrane structure, and lipid dynamics. She also toured the DaMBIC and NANOCHEM imaging facilities, exploring cutting-edge technologies and their applications. The day ended with inspiring conversations about potential partnerships and future research, paving the way for new joint projects in membrane biophysics and advanced imaging.

We sincerely thank her for the visit and look forward to strengthening this valuable connection!
