International Security and Law: Becoming Tomorrow’s International Security Experts

Offered jointly by the Department of Political Science and the Department of Law, SDU’s English-taught master programme in International Security and Law is designed for students with a background in law, political science, international relations, or similar fields.

This interdisciplinary program blends legal expertise with insights from security studies, global politics, and risk analysis. Courses cover international law and security, human rights, and risk governance - while also building practical skills in policy-making, and strategic communication through real-life inspired crisis simulation.

You’ll be supported by the SDU when you want to go abroad for a semester or internship and after graduating you have the chance to work in ministries, international organizations, NGOs, and private companies!
