Declaration of Interest - Interessetilkendegivelse

If you have the funding for a new project and are looking for a potential PhD student, the Graduate School can help you with a Declaration of Interest (Interessetilkendegivelse).

Application forms

To be able to post an Declaration of Interest, we need you to fill out one of the two forms below:

  • English version (If the posting is only to be in English, you do not need to complete the Danish version)
  • Danish version (If the position requires that the applicant speaks Danish, we recommend this)

In addition to the posting itself, we also need some supplementary information

Please send an e-mail to phd@health.sdu.dk with the filled out form and following information:

  • What is the application deadline (the posting must be online for a minimum of 14 days)?
  • Where would you like the posting to be published in addition to SDU’s website?
    • These can be used free of charge:
      • SDU's website
      • Jobnet.dk
      • WorkInDenmark.dk
      • The EURES portal
    • These can be used for a fee (approx. 5,000 DKK):
      • Research
      • Nature
If you want it posted on these sites, I need you to provide the EAN number of the party who will be paying.

  • Who should be part of the hiring committee (name and e-mail), so we can enter them into the system?
  • Who is the immediate manager for the posting (remember that they need to be aware that they must approve the posting in the HCM system)?

Once the posting is open and available, we will send you an confirmation and a link for you to distribute as well.

Approval of the Project

All projects and students must be approved by the graduate school before enrolment can proceed. To speed up this process you can, if you already have the project description completed, apply for approval of this in Manuscript Manager

Once the student has been found you can then make a new application in Manuscript Manager in the student’s name (with all the attachments: project description, supervisor accept and CV, Students CV, Students MA diploma etc..) and refer back to the earlier approved project and the application number. This way we know it is only the student that needs approval and not the project again.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the Graduate School at phd@health.sdu.dk if you have any questions

Please note!

Both the project and the student must be approved the usual way before the enrolment process can begin. See more on the link below:
