This presentation offers a unique insight into how project-based learning (PBL) is being adopted and developed in a South African context.
It also presents an ambitious attempt at large-scale development of K-12 education, providing an excellent opportunity for comparison with experiences from Denmark.
At the same time, it is an inspiring personal story of a former businessman who chose to dedicate himself to education as a driver of societal change – a choice that, among other things, led to a PhD program at Aalborg University.
