Peter was employed as data manager for OPEN on December 1st 2013...
Peter Bj酶dstrup Jensen will, in close collaboration with OPEN's clinical-epidemilogical聽employees, be responsible for development and聽maintenance聽of OPENs聽SQL-research databases. Furthermore he will participate in requisition, data entry and analytic preparation of data from the national health registries for research purposes, sometimes including data linkage with clinical databases, biobanks and user-entered data. Moreover Peter will contribute when reporting and聽publishing research results.
Peter聽Bj酶dstrup聽Jensen is educated MSc. in biophysics in 2008, subsequently Peter has been employed at Research Service聽at the Danish Health and Medicines Authority, where he guided researchers, programmed data extractions from the national聽health registries and was responsible for registrations in the Danish Health Insurance Registry.聽In December 2009 Peter was enrolled as a PhD-student at聽the Novo Nordic Foundation Center for Protein Research,聽University of Copenhagen,聽the PhD-project was entitled:聽Electronic Health Records for Data-driven Biomedical Research. The PhD-defense took place at the end of聽2013.
